I am a self-taught artist inspired by the creativity that I believe we all have within us. I work with acrylic paints on canvas and also create mixed media pieces and altered books ~ taking old boxes and books destined for the landfill and giving them new life as works of art.

In my paintings I love bold and vibrant colors and paint both abstracts and figurative abstracts. My intuition guides me to explore and discover fun ways of playing with paint rather than choosing a subject ahead of time.

While layer upon layer of paint make up my canvases, whimsical found objects guide the themes of my mixed media pieces and altered books.
